A bit ago I started sending out emails asking people what were good animals to draw. The sensational Dan Hipp returned with “Fancy Pigs”. There you have it, folks. What was I supposed to do? Just draw some piggies in mud? Oh no.

A couple months ago Dan Hipp tossed his character Detective Piggy Brown on his website. You know, your average gentleman pig that solves crime. And this was it.
My chance.
To draw some Piggy Motherhuggin’ Brown.
This is when he realizes that he is wearing kid gloves. Which are made from barnyard friends~ the baby goats.
A real conundrum for a pig. He loves mud, but he also loves his dashing threads. What’s a piglet to do?
Piggy Brown and the Case of the Mummy Mutts
Some gentleman pigs and their gentlemanly sayings.
And by far the cutest of the sketches:
If you haven’t yet, I’d really recommend checking out some Dan Hipp. I’m head over heels for Amazing Joy Buzzards, but you really can’t lose. He draws with a great frantic energy that I can’t get enough of. That and he entertains all of my silly emails with promptness and good humor. That alone deserves bucket loads of commendation.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I CAME UP WITH ALL OF THOSE SAYINGS FOR THE GENTLEMANLY PIGS. It’s cuz I’m so gentlemanly.
Tha-That is not true! You came up with SOME OF THEM. ‘Cause you’re somewhat gentlemanly (I guess).
