I’m slowly getting through the DC Guide to Digitally Drawing Comics. My break this week was my favorite Pokemon #33 Nidorino
No idea when or how he became my favorite. It’s pretty pathetic that I don’t even like Nidoking more. I picked this runty little ‘poison rabbit’.
I hardly see the resemblance to a bunny, something that I think helps him look a little more ambiguous. ‘Cause frankly, I don’t really like bunnies. But I do like nidorino.He’s such an awkward looking monster. With most pokemon you can see what their use is. At the very least if they look stupid (psyduck, slowpoke) they have an element that they’re powered by. Not nidorino! Normal/Poison type. In most pokebooks, that’s pretty useless.
I’m not known for my strategy. My attack plan: Learn horn attack and then impale every pokemon to death. And you know what? That gets me by just fine.
